Stillen exhaust

Any Canadian G35C owners who are thinking about upgrading to the Stillen exhaust? Was quoted a price of $2800CDN installed from dealership. Ouch! The Stillen exhaust is supposed to have better fit and finish than the Borla and there are fewer pieces to clamp together, so potentially less chance of exhaust leak and fewer rattles. Heavier than the Borla though. Please, no flames, just what I've read from various posts and magazine reviews. Inquired about the cost of the Borla and was quoted at least $1500 CDN before installation. Hopefully the prices will fall once other aftermarket tuners come out with their versions of the cat-back exhaust. GReddy is suppose to be coming out with dual exhaust. Flowmaster is coming out with a titanium muffler. Fujitsubo is already available, but not inexpensive. Just wondering if anyone in Canada has Stillen's exhaust installed on their coupe and how much it was.

Re: Stillen exhaust

Why not order the exhaust from US? It's much cheaper though. Probably it will cost you less than $2000 CAD

Re: Stillen exhaust

You might want to try installing the muffler from the Coupe.
It's also the same one that is used in the Maxima and is the ONLY reason the Coupe is rated with an additional 20HP.

I talked to a tech at my dealership (Alta) and he checked it out - warranty compatible and a lot less than a whole new system.

Re: Stillen exhaust

I've got the Stillen intake & exhaust. Go to Oakville Infiniti and ask them for a price. I got the intake, exhaust, Eibach pro kit and and the lower valence replacements for $2800 CDN. Craig is the name of the tech there that installs all the aftermarket parts. He did a great job. He will tell you how much it will cost for the installation. For the exhaust only it should not be too bad - the kit goes on pretty quickly.

Hey Pimp, is that $2800 including install & tax? looks like a pretty good deal. did you also get a Z tube?

and what exactly is this lower valence? is it the front lip of the areo kit?
