Yes those were the years. I was pretty pumped when I owned the CJ at age 16.

^ I would be happy to have a Boss 429 now - probably my favorite. Loved that one at LMC.

I can imagine that brings back memories Colin, that is such a beautiful car!! Can you imagine what it would be worth if you still had it?

That KR that is available at LMC, what would you estimate the price tag? I would guess $150-$200k

LOL, that wouldn't surprise me, Shane. KNowing their rep and the condition of their rides....
On B/Jackson you see them sell way north of $100k (USD)

yeah, I'd love to have the copy I had back again......
......but that was 29 yrs ago that I sold her.
.........but I am grateful for having had one for a time......it's more than most will have had. ......so I'm a lucky one.....

Yeah, I had a good look around..............again... Sure wish you could see it too man......I know how much you and your Dad would enjoy the visit.

It's a thing of beauty......It wasn't the fastest of the mustle cars tho it was fast enough for me, but it sure has character, and really does it for me.

My father would go out of his mind if he visited LMC. He is ALWAYS on their website and drooling over the old Stangs they have there. I would love to surprise him with two plane tickets up there so the two of us could go.

BTW, I emailed LMC and explained my situation on the '68 KR and asked "how much" for that pretty blue one....

I'll let you know what the reply is..

Well, when I get back from Montreal, I'm heading straight to the dealer this Friday, and see what these guys have to say.

I have to admit, I'm pretty excited about this, since you see so many C6's driving around. The wife thinks the C6 is the way to go, because she'll say I'll get bored of the 'riced out mustang'. hahah. She cracks me up.

I'm very worried about being caught up in the hype, like the 'terminators' in 03. Those things were going for MSRP+, and now dealers were selling close to invoice the next year.

We'll see, I'll update everyone on Friday

sounds good link, can't go wrong with a c6, maybe choose the 7.0L option

oh and yes colin you were right it was a 67' and my oh my what a beauty beauty it is

I'm not sure if you guys know about American Chopper on the Discovery Channel, but they made a bike to honor the 67' shelby, as well as Caroll Shelby. Turned out exceptional in my opinion

Best of luck this Friday, Link, for sure the new Shelby will be a rare one, and a beauty too.

Let us know how it goes please. (and I hope you win the 'discussion' with wifey)
