If so, we could hook up somewhere on the west side.

For those coming out on the weekend,
we could still end up in L. Placid for a meet.

 

Yes Ian that works perfectly for us. I believe there is a ferry across from Burlington if I recall right. I'll have to research the distance to estimate some timing to meet, maybe Wed pm or Thursday We want to cruise the White mountains of NH, green mountains of Vermont beforehand.

My wife said yesterday she must stop at some of the big box US stores and I have to decide if I am going to do the tires thing.

 

Deane, if you are going through the White Mountains, stop at North Conway. I am not sure if you've been there before but it's a nice little town with tons of outlet shopping for your wife. Plus the scenery is beautiful. I go camping there every summer. In fact, on top of Mt. Washington is where I proposed to my wife two years ago!

 

Shane, yes we've been there before a number of years ago. It is a gorgeous area for sure. That's cool about Mount Washington. We climbed it too but I didn't do anything as dramatic as that at the top!

You should plan to make the trip with us.

 

I am looking to go to this event as well.

This should be fun, thinking of taking some time off!!

It's official....holiday time confirmed..
We're going to head out on the 24th & end up in L.Placid for the weekend meet.

 

^All good here too. Planning to pull up stakes here on the 23rd or 24th and meander through the back country en route to Lake Placid. Let's make plans to meet just west of L. Champlain.

I have made reservations at the Wildwood on the Lake for both Friday and Saturday night since we will be vacationing beginning July 24. I believe Ian has done the same. The motel is on Lake Placid and a 10 minute walk from town. I tentatively have 5 Lakeview rooms in total set aside for those who want to choose this location also. They are $128/night. There are currently a couple of cheaper rooms available too if you so choose. To ensure availability I suggest reserving very soon if you are interested.

Come on people put your name on the list if you are available. I went on the East Coast meet with inTgr8r last year and met up with RBull, Canuck, and Msedanman out there and we had a Fantastic time. This will be an awesome run and I am so peed off I can't go because of other commitments. I am soooo envious.
