(Ian, I sent Hold out an email with a link since he is not on the board much)

LOL Wayne. Gotta love that spirit.

We'd love to have you and hubby join us. How about doing the Friday Saturday Sunday version that I think some others are doing as well??

It's a thought, but it is a long run for 3 days for us from Kincardine. I will mention it to my hubby tonight . LOL

K and I have been checking it out to drive down leaving 5 PM Friday night, July28th. We would stay overnight somewhere on the way, then meet up with you guys for 1 night (July 29th), then we would probably stay the Sunday night also and drive back Monday morning.

We have to discusss this a bit more, according to Mapquest it is the following:
Kincardine, ON N2Z 1H2, CA to Lake Placid, NY US...
Total estimated time = 9 hours 15 minutes,
Total Distance = 459.3 miles (739 Kms)

We would miss the first 3 days of the Fishing Derby, but thats not a big deal, the fishing has been pretty slow anyways.
Decisions, decisions .
Wayne & Hubby

Hey good to hear you're close to making the right decision Wayne! I knew a little arm twisting might work.
I'll be watching that list to see if your name makes it.

We haven't checked the distance from here but I know it's a good trek.

Deane

hehe You must have been talking to Colin , Sam Colin and I enjoyed a nice little lunch meet yesterday.
Karen is on call the Friday night we would have gone (but she could swap the call with someone else). We just hashed it out and figured we would only get to meet up with you guys for one day, so a 9 hour drive 2 out of 3 days was too much.

That's too bad Wayne, but completely understandable....
We'll hook up sometime when we get back.
