windows is really the only way to go if you want software flexibility. meaning you have more options. Now i said windows because you can use either a mac or pc for that.

What? You can't run apple OS on a PC??

You mean buy a mac because you can partition part of the drive off to run windows.

By PC I am referring to a computer built to run windoze.

It's against apples rules because they prefer to keep meat in the butcher shop, not their computers.

Never seen a windows based computer run any mac os...never want to.

Get the mac, I weaned myself on to Macs using my girl's macbook.

You can run your Windows operating system on the mac. Check youtube and also Apple's website, they finally got around to giving those who are on the fence a fair look at the mac's capabilities.

I have been a PC head since I was 12 years old, and I'm saving up now for a 24" IMac. It took me a few weeks to get that "what the hell is this bullsh_t" look off my face while using her laptop, it was worth sticking with to learn.

Dude, whatever floats your boat. you can run a mac or pc although I think there are more frontends and skins for windows based computers. Which ever you decide they make a mini in either version that will fit your nav glove box perfectly

Figure out what applications you want to run. THAT'S what matters. Streetdeck (www.streetdeck.com) only runs on a PC and it's hands down the best integrated software system for the car.
