Thanks for the updates, I've been considering something similar to add to my existing aftermarket to get streaming audio and better navigation.

Np. Eq is finally mounted and that was a real pain... I'm still working on changing a few things around and will update with more pictures soon.

I was very surprised with how readable the screen is even in the middle of the day... The screen on the tablet can get very bright and I've never had a problem reading the screen.

Actually you can stream audio to your tablet using an app called AirBubble. I believe it's on the play store. Check it out.

Welp after trying out the EQ with the stock Blose amp I came to realize the bose amp is just a POS when trying to work with anything other than the stock head unit. So I completely trashed the Bose system and just upgraded the door speakers with some Polk MM6501 component speakers and a 2 channel Cerwin-Vega stealth amp. Was a little worried about not having any speakers in the rear but actually it sounds pretty awesome lol. I ran the extra RCA cables to the rear anyways in case I plan on upgrading at some point but for now I'm more than happy with the sound quality of this setup.
Thanks for this whole thing, you've given me some ideas on what i want to do. So one of my door speakers has blown and i want to replace them, but i wasn't sure if i wanted to buy a new amp or still use the bose one. And i was wondering, why are you only using the front two speakers?

Don't use the bose amp again. Replace it.

Front two speakers + a sub is the closest to a live-concert performance - audio in front of you. Movies are mastered for surround sound, music is mastered for stereo.

What amp should i replace it with? and what speakers do you recommend? I also wanted to upgrade my Head unit to something like this http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Pioneer+...&skuId=4040138 I only want to replace the door speakers for now, but i want to still use all 4

Hi
Can you please describe how you got that nice front end with large icons? I am thinking to go real simple and install Samsung Tab 2 using velcro in the cubby. I have downloaded that Desktop Visualizer application but am unable to find a way to get the icons to appear larger, also how did you get that Carpet Icon pack?
Cheers

on your homescreen long press to add a widget. choose the desktop visualizer widget and the size (I use the 2x2 size icon). This will add the widget to the home screen where you can press it to configure the app that is launched along with a custom icon/picture to display.

You can find icon packs all over the interwebs but I am currently using Tha **** premium icon pack
