Paint Pens and Wax

I just got three paint pens, primer, base coat and clear coat.
Do I need to remove the wax before I start touching up all the chips in this eight month old car?

Thanks.

Yes, it is important to remove any wax/sealant around the touchup area before application. The best way to do this is to go to a drug store, grab a bottle of regular 70% rubbing alcohol, mix it 50:50 with water in a spray bottle, spray the area liberally and then wipe away with a cloth. Cheers.

The pens? They work; they're kind of a pain in the butt because on small chips they can be touch to work with. I generally sand down blobs then polish them out so they disappear; obviously that isn't practical for everyone but Langka is (google Langka). So if you get blobs I'd just use that.

That looks like a good idea. I wonder if you can just buy the "blob" part anywhere.
