Cleaning Your Volks?
I use the Zaino carwash (Z7?) and then the Z6 or Z8 detail spray. I know there are other great wheel waxes, etc, but the Zaino works great, is easy and is convenient since I'm using it on the rest of the car anyway.
I use 3 caps full of NXT Wash in 1 bucket of water.
1 bucket for the wheels, a whole different bucket with same setup for my paint.
Followed by metal polish if needed...
I wipe the whole car down with microfibers everytime I drive it (with meguire's gold class quick detailer or NXT quick detailer + some other things I mix together).. At the same time, I have a set of microfibers I wipe the wheels off with also... Which I also do if I am stopped for a while or whatever.

Cleaning my Volks............
Cool water on cool wheels then a good rubdown with
Wheel Wax and buff with cheap micro-towels from
Pep Boys or Target. Not the ones I use for the paint
from Zymol ($6.) each!
