Paint Cleaner

I have something like sap that has hardened on my paint. I tried rubbing it out but it won't come off.

Anyone know of a strong cleaner that can remove this kind of stuff?

You may want to shop by Pep Boys and purchase a cleaner specifically made to remove tree saps, tar, bird poop, etc...

I would use something similar to Stoner's Tarminator first before the clay bar.

imho, claybar would be the safest on the paint. i would try that before using any other detergents that can further stain it.

This may sound crazy, but try some mayonnaise. It takes a long time, but won't harm the paint. I'm guessing maybe the fat content softens the sap.

Stoners Tarminator. I found that major sap deposits take a long time to get out via clay. Hit it with tarminator and be dure to wash it off and reseal the paint. No need for a wheel or anything aggressive!
