Poorboys
Ok I am about to order a claybar from them, and the Poorboy's Polish with Carnauba (Blue). Is that sufficient enough? My car is black and only half a year old. I'm thinking that is all I need as of right now. Any suggestions?
I would get the car and the polish w/ carnuba (note...the polish in this is fairly light and works more like Klasse AIO than a real abrasive polish)
I would also consider:
EX-P - a GREAT sealant
Spray & Wipe - best product they make, I have a 5-gallon container of it
Leather Stuff - can get 32oz for the price of 16 right now, it is a good leather and interior surface treatment
Maybe some Spray and Gloss - a good QD for the EX-P
Best of luck.

I too love their stuff, and works great on my TB coupe. the SSR's are best applied with a PC (porter cable), but their Polish w/Carnauba is a very good paint cleaner/fine polish, right before the sealant and/or wax. EX-P is a good sealant, works great when layered, and I think if you top it off with their Natty's Blue Wax you'll have the ultimate shine!
I also like their Deluxe Mega towels (the salmon colored ones), they're really plush for QDing, buffing, removing wax/sealant. and 6 for $30 for high-quality MF towels are a deal IMO.

The second wash isn't necessary, just use a good MF towel to wipe off the lubricant, and the polish should strip away whatever wax/sealant/glaze/nasty nasty was on there before.

As eddwin stated, it is probably not 100% required. Still, it is a good insurance move from my perspective.

i need a really good sealer for an older (2000) vehicle, i just washed, clayed, polished with orbital, but i need a good long lasting sealant to put on it as i dont often get to wash/wax it
suggestions? then do i wax it over top of the polish?
thanks

Polish with carnauba will only provide a very short window of protection, like AIO - it's more of a super light abrasive chemical cleaner with some sealing ability. I'd highly recommend Poorboys EX or EX-P over it. Cheers.
