Jacks and Jack Stands

I'm not sure where this post should go, but I think it's here. I am in the market for a Jack and 4 Jack stands. I was wondering what you guys use and if you like them. I found a 3k lbs. racing jack on Harbor freight for pretty cheap, But I was wondering what you all use... and What kind or what capacity jack stands do you all like?

Costco has a great aluminum jack for $89. I bought it when it was $99.

Here is a SIDE LIFT JACK PAD made of plastic which will do the job.
But you sure don't want to buy 4 at that price:

just got an all aluminum low profile craftsman jack. 2 ton capacity which is not much, but had one pump riser (one pump of the handle lifts the jack up to the lift point. as far as jack stands go, go heavy duty and reliable name. you never want to be sorry that you didn't spend the extra $50 while your car is sitting on the ground.

I got an Omega 3 ton Air-actuated hydraulic floor jack. (Can still hand operate the jack if necessary) It works awesome.. I just connect it to my air-compressor, squeeze the valve, pft, pft, pft, and the car raises up 19" in seconds...

I got it because my regular floor jack barely cleared my car. So I had to use a screwdriver to pump the jack, which not only takes forever, but is very hard with such little leverage.

Granted, my shiny air jack is a shade too tall to clear my G35, but I back my car onto a piece of scrap 2x4, and it clears fine.
