Please help!! caked on wax =(

Hey guys...any input is greatly appreciated.

I've waxed my coupe nearly a month ago...must've applied too much...
cus recently i'm noticing alot of white swirls on my coupe...
at first i didn't know what it was...so i tried scratching it lightly and it came right off...i'm assuming that's caked on wax...

as it would be impoosible for me to go through the entire car and remove those old caked on wax by hand...could someone plz advise me on what to do if they've experienced a similar problem?

i've tried the original blue dawn to wash off...but it doesn't seem to disolve those caked on wax...rubbing and scratching seems to be the only way to get it off

Are there any products out there designed specifically to remove wax, but will not harm the finish of the paint? Thnx for reading!

have you tried bug and tar remover? spray the b&t remover on and let it soak for 2 - 3 minutes, then wash it with a strong ratio of Carwash/water with a mitt..

if not, maybe wash the car 100% and then use a clay bar? maybe a fine polish with a porter cable would work?

usually a quick detailer product will remove excess wax.

Quick detailer and a microfiber should work. If not you can definitely remove it by polishing the surface or just getting some isopropyl alcohol that will strip it off no problem.
