keeping it new

hi all
i got my 06 OB almost a month ago and I learned my lession. It is pain in the A** to keep it clean..

after researching here i bought a maguire gold car wash, microfiber cloth and a cali duster..

i washed my car today and went to a shushi restaurent and its dirty again..
my ques is what kind of product or detaling kit i should purchase to keep it clean so when i use my cali duster it will keep its shine.

lots of guys talked about ziano..what product whould i buy to use after a wash ?

just cant handle it anymore. to much dust here in az..
so what shoud i choose..

That's the fact bro... You can't remove daily dust, that just simply the fact ...sorry....that's why you need to wash your car AT LEAST once a week, i did mine like once or twice every week, to make sure that the dirt didn't stick on your paint.... I use zaino to wax my car but for weekly wash, I usually spray meguiera's spray detailer aftr I dry my car...so far , it turns out to be good...
I know your pain coz I own OB myself

well dust your car everynight if you can and get some quick detailer from meguiars or zaino it depends on your pref, mist and wipe down. keeps your car nice and shiny. With zaino, go to thier site and get info on stuff. I like zaino and the more layers i put on it, it is a lot easier to get the dust, bird poop bugs etc. off the car. I feel you too my black g once i drive off the drive way the back bumper is dusty already....

nd i don want to take it to a car wash..I already have couple swirl marks.
Yeah thats what i was thinking.

1.wash the car
2.detail with Mcguier's quick detail
3.and then dust it every day or two with cali duster.

this cycle every week..

also do i need to do any wax or polish since i just got the car.
what u guys recomend ?

yes... polish the crap out of it.. with zaino... the more layers the "wetter" the car looks..
do this,
1 wash teh car with liquid dawn remove all the wax that dealership or other ppl put on.
2. Clay the car. although its new you should claybar it to make sure the paint is clean and free of contaminates.
3. Polish with zaino or your favorite polish. there are more info on zaino and autopia's site too... good luck..

i think you are supposed to let it out of the package and sit out in the sun i am not sure, i use a feather duster instead...

actually it does dawn is high alkili it strips off wax and residue leaving only the clear coat exposed. its on both autopia and zaino's site.

i suggest you double check autopia, it does not remove wax, do the test, wax your car then wash it, if theres no water beads then it removed the wax... it will remove the grease from your hands though

here you go http://autopia.org/forum/showthread....highlight=dawn
