Re: The Best Wax?

there is another product that klasse makes it is the high gloss sealant (tou vcan only use it after the all in one if you want a deeper shine), that one you leave on a bit before wiping off, in fact they say the longer the easier it is to buff off.

Re: The Best Wax?

For all those that said Zaino.....Zaino is a polish, not a wax. I'd be interested though in trying CG or Klasse.

Re: The Best Wax?

From everything I have read, there seems to be 2 that stand
out Klasse and Zaino, I have tried Zaino, works great, lasts
and lasts, price is high but who cares, have just ordered
Klasse AIO and SG so will let them go head to head and
make a decision what is best for me. Priority for me is 1)
shine, gloss 2) durability 3) ease of use 4) price, not really
but it helps if I could save a few pennies for a few extra mods..

Re: The Best Wax?

I just purchased the Klasse AIO/Sealant/glaze and the SONUS acrylic detail spray.....I've been told this is a one two knock out punch for finish/shine....
I also read where if you really want some extra gloss, after the klasse application, top the finish off with a coat of PS21 carnauba wax (only PS21) it will bring out the deep wet look most are looking for....I will try this method shortly, and will post my results.....checkthis out this will confirm what I stated above....2old4this

My $0.02

From my post @ FreshAlloy:
I'm going to put my vote in for Klasse. Picked up some All In One and tried it today on the G. Absolutely loved it. I started with the trunk to see if it would hide some light swirls there or if I had to use some ScratchX on the car. It was so amazing that I ended up doing the whole car. From wash - wax was 1.5 hours. Not bad at all and it was one of the best waxes I've ever used - no staining the rubber/black trim, easy on and easy off by hand.

I think I'm going to take the 6" orbital buffer I picked up at Wal-Mart back as I'm in love with the ease of use and how the Klasse makes the car just look AWESOME.

Now to pick up some P21s and try that - I hear that's a combo to die for!

For black/red cars, use Klasse-Souveran Pinnacle combo. This synthetic/natural combo gives you hybrid qualities of exceptional shine, durability, and protection.

Re: The Best Wax?

You guys are talking abot some great wax/polishes but at the same time quite expensive
For those who can't or don't want to spend the big bucks they can check this out. Last weekend I used Meguairs Gold Class clear coat Wax and it seems to works quite good. It suppose to have some polish in there to so it puts wax and also cleans and polish at the same time. Simple to put on and take off. I also used meguairs cleaner wax before I used the gold class and some patches where there were some swirls used some swirl cleaner. Here are some pics afterwards...

Re: The Best Wax?

I'll give you that it works well. I used to use it on my old car, before I went to their 3 step wax, which I liked even bettter.

Then came zaino.... I got it a week before I got my G. I love that stuff and it some much easier to use, that and you don't marks from all that wax on wax off, from rubbing.

8-10 washes and 3 months later it still looks and spots water like i just put it on, can't say that about gold class!

Re: The Best Wax?

I have to agree that Meguair's GC seems to not last long. My experience is that its generally between 4-6 months. Although I still like the price and one step in all wax compound.

Re: The Best Wax?

Check response to "Zaino haters" thread. Technically not a wax, but certainly one of the best things that can be applied to the exterior of your car. btw, to prove a point, my friend who went thru heck to put a mother's shine on his new 2500 GMC in black, allowed me to Zaino the tailgate. He'll be getting some Zaino now and giving the Mothers to his dad.
