The Best Wax?
Re: The Best Wax?
If your asking about the best wax, zaino, klasse or crystal guard aren't waxes but sealants. If you're looking for the best wax check out zymol, pinnacle or P21s. Those are carnauba waxes that will give you the depth and wetness that no other sealants can match. Polymer sealants will give you that glossy and reflective look but lacks the depth of a real carnauba waxes.
Re: The Best Wax?
Agree. But you want polish that best complements your wax. IMO for black/red cars, best polish-wax combo is Klasse-Pinnacle Souveran.

Re: The Best Wax?
Nobody has mentioned my favorite wax: One Grand Blitz Wax. It's $15 for a 15 ounce can and will rival Pinnacle Souveran at 6 times the cost.

Jerry Seinfeld has One Grand used exclusively on all his Porsches.
One Grand is the exclusive automobile appearance product supplier to the British Royal Family.
Plus there stuff is of amazing quality, with totally generic packaging (which I like, it means you're not paying extra for satin baggies for your wax). All the liquid products I have used by them are all off-white in color. no dyes to make them look fancy. This is a no BS company, people.
One Grand Blitz Wax and Show-Off, their quick detailer, look absolutely incredible over Klasse All-In-One and Sealant Glaze.
About Crystal Guard; any product that uses ease of use and quick results as a selling factor turns me off. I'm not afraid to put some work into something if it's going to give me results. I'm not lazy. I don't use 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioners. Spending all day polishing/sealing/waxing a car is not everyones cup of tea. Crystal Guard is for those people. For other people who enjoy and relish in the thought of pouring their heart and soul into making their car look it's best, they'd be better off with Klasse and One Grand, in my humblest of opinions.

Re: The Best Wax?
no one here mentioned black fire ? its a polymer sealant that rivals the shine and deep wet look of the best waxes. It is also designed to last very long and it is easy to use.
When i was shopping for a detailing product I checked out http://www.properautocare.com and came to the conclusion that black fire was going to work best for me. Best balance of performance, durability, and ease of use.

Re: The Best Wax?
Anybody seen that ad for Dupont's new line of stuff with Teflon in it? Anyone used it yet? Just the word Teflon gets me all giddy. If an egg won't stick to it, nothing will.

Sspade: I use Blackfire and like it very much. It's very easy to use and lasts well. Properautocare is a good site for this stuff. I've been tempted by other waxes but results for Blackfire are good and ease of use wins out over some of the others.
