Re: The Best Wax?

Check the detail forum. Basically here there are two camps:

1: Crystal Guard

2: Zaino

Both are good products. Coming from a very work-intensive 3-step process I used on show cars that I restored and sold, I went for the low-effort Crystal Guard product. So far it's doing everything the literature has promised. I'm very happy with it and it only takes 15-20 minutes to apply during a normal wash.

Re: The Best Wax?

I have been using "KLASSE All-in-One" on my previous car (BMW 330ci) and on my G35 Coupe and I am very happy with the results I have been getting. The bottle of Klasse All-in-one retails for about $25 and you can get it at BMW and Mercedes Dealerships or you can get in on the WWW.

Re: The Best Wax?

this stuff is not so painful. but for my black G, i use crystal guard. quick and easy to apply. there is a 15% off sale on CG until the end of this month.

Re: The Best Wax?

Here's another vote for Klasse. Besides shining as well, it is more durable than Crystal Guard and is easier to apply than all of them.

Re: The Best Wax?

Hmmm . . . never heard of Klasse, but I find it hard to believe it's easier to apply, or that it's more durable. CG is sprayed on a wet car, rubbed around a bit, and wiped off. I'd also like to see the data backing up the durability claim.

Re: The Best Wax?

I wasn't going to say anything What's its relative hardness? I recall reading a lot about Klasse before I ended up buying CG. Something in the literature turned me from Klasse to CG, but I don't recall exactly what. As for ease of application... have you tried CG? Wipe on, wipe off. With class, you need to let it sit for at least 20 minutes and buff it off... uh, wax, anyone?

Re: The Best Wax?

Klasse all in one is the easiest wax (acrylic). you do not have to wait 20 minutes, infact you wipe it off right after yo put it on. it lasts 6 months to a year. CG reminds me of this cr@p i use to see on an inmfamercial in the 90's. but that is just my opinion and that is what you asked for.

Re: The Best Wax?

Klasse's own website says you need to wait 20 minutes... just wondering where you got the wipe-on/wipe-off? CG's a flourine and glass suspension... so, actually has an absolute harness greater than that of an acryllic. Where's your info from? I've been looking for something harder, I just didn't see anything in Klasse's info that hinted at it. Thanks,
