Wax Removal

I would like to apply Crystal Guard to my car, but need to remove the wax first. What is the best product / method to strip the wax? It is regular Meguiars step 3 wax.

Re: Wax Removal

Wash your car with Dawn soap, the regular blue kind...it is the best for degreasing/dewaxing, and its safe for paint

Re: Wax Removal

Thanks Rambo

Do you think one wash would do it, I have about 3 layers on there.

Re: Wax Removal

good question, one should do it, but try twice just to be safe, dont apply too much pressure, you dont want any scratches/swirls from the sponge
