Hi! It seems as though the plastic over my HVAC display is all messed up. It''s as though it is scratched or something. I can't figure out and I was wondering if anyone had the same problem. I know that I did use one of those Armourall cleaning wipes on it because it was what was available but it almost looks like it's residue was burned into the plastic. That's the best I could describe. The dealer looked at it and he just recommended using wax over it and I did that and it seems to have worked I think. It just seems too weird of a thing to happen so I am asking. Thanks!

 

You have to be really careful what you use to wipe that plastic down with, it scratches very easily, I use just a very soft cotton cloth (actually a diaper) dampened with just water, that seems to do a good job, I for sure wouldn't use any ArmourAll stuff on it, that's really bad news in the long run anyway!
