And the Z5, I just ordered it. I found some very minor swirls, spider webs on the hood. I haven't tried the Z8. I hear it's tricky to apply (must be shaken before each squirt) and tricky to take off. Thoughts on your end on using the Z8? So far, the Zaino system of products are distincted by their ease of use.

Z8 isn't hard. I use it the same way as Z6. HUGE difference though

BTW, I did decide to get a PC 7424. I need it for my other car (wife's Murano), it needs some serious buffing. But, I can't wait to use it to remove some of the swirls and spider webs on my G35.
I just don't know how I got these swirls. Someone mentioned that washing can induce the spider webs. Which I tend to believe, because I always wipe, use the CA duster in a consistent direction - for vertical surfaces it's front to back, horizontal surfaces, it's up and down.

I picked up the Zaino show car kit and did the following the night I picked up my '05 Coupe:
- washed with Dawn (it was ~40 degrees out and dark - my neighbor's gave me many strange looks)
- clay bar
- Mr. Clean auto dry car wash
- dry with calif. water blade/chamois/100% terry towel (bought a couple brand new and washed and dried to remove lint before use)
- Z-2 w/ ZFX
- Z-8
- Z-5 w/ZFX
- Z-8
- Z-2 w/ ZFX
- Z-8
- Z-5 w/ZFX
- Z-8
The Z-8 between coats really helps with the next coat and the final application leaves a really nice gloss. The finish is so slick, its unreal. All tolds, it was about 4-5 hours work including the tire dressing application, but well worth it.
Results (these were taken in the garage - so not really the best lighting to show the results, but you get the idea):

My question is if you use Z5, why do you use the Z2? I think the Z5Pro looks better all by itself. But, that's just my $.02.

p.s. BTW, DirtyWally... good job on the paint. In my opinion, for that next level of detail next time I would hit your tire wells, exterior trim (& engine bay) with a little Z16. It gives your excellent paint work that extra pop. Also the splash guards need to get Z5 and Z8.
