rim protection for the upcoming winter

i live in philly where winters can get kinda ugly (snow, salt...) that could damage my rims (ruff racing 279's-paint like rim and polished lip)

i know i'm stupid but i'm leaving them on for the winter. what is the best way to protect them against the salt etc...

i've heard many good things bout WheelWax but didnt know if there was anything else out there you guys might recommend.
thx!

Wheel Wax is good and if you have a sealant that you use on the clear coat you can most likely use it on your wheels as well. However my favorite product for the wheel is the Poorboy's World Wheel Sealant. Its extremely durable and definitely makes future cleanings easier in my opinion. It should be reapplied every couple months but it def makes inbetween cleanings easier.

I have my brand new OEM 18''s that I put on for the winter. I want to protect them from brake dust and salt as much as possible.
What's the difference between Wheel Wax and Wheel Sealant? Which one goes on first? Or should I only bother with just the Sealant and forget about
the wax?

Wheel Wax and Poorboy's World Wheel Sealant are designed to do relatively the same thing which is to protect the wheel. Wheel Wax has some cleaning charactheristics in it which allow it to help seperate very light contamination from the wheel's surface during its application while leaving a layer of protection. The Poorboy's World Wheel Sealant is a pure sealant that is a better form of protection in my opinion. It lasts longer and smells great. I prefer to clean my wheels thoroughly first before applying the sealant so I don't really need the cleaning charactheristics of the Wheel Wax and tend to use the Wheel Sealant. Both are easy to apply and remove and both work, just a question of which one works best for you.
