Philly parking accident

I parked my car in center city and when I got back, the left corner of my rear bumper has 5-6 deep scratches as thick as a pencil head eraser. I can see fiberglass, but no dents, but paint is completely gone. Is it possible for me to repair this myself with numerous coats from a paint pen? or must i get my whole bumer painted by a professional, if so, how much could that range??

if i were u i would just use the paint pen to see how it looks like since the other alternative is to repaint anyways.. so if it doesnt look good, then repaint it professionally. It'll cost you a couple hundred bucks!

yea, I went to infiniti the following day and they said they have someone that comes in every week that just paints bumpers. They told me it would cost me around $250 for the whole bumper to be painted.

which infiniti dealer did you go to? if you are going the professional route, you might want to go to a higher end bodyshop. they probably will charge close to the same as you mentioned, but the finish will come out better. those dealership people just do a quick respray and many times the quality might not be up to oem standard.

I would try the touchup yourself. A rough touchup job can be made a whole lot better with some wetsanding as well.
