Does anyone use Rain-X on their G? Are there any issues with using it?

I've used it in the past. have some of the new type but haven't applied it yet. I had no bad issues with it. Pretty cool, actually. Rain just runs off even without using wiper (if you are moving).

Rain X is good but can't be a little hard to work with. I've used sealants on my windshield that work great. My favorite product is the Glass Science Rain Clear Gel. It seems easier to apply and remove and lasts a little longer in my experiences.

RainX doesnt last long (as mentioned above) but it can be easy to apply
if you spray onto a paper towel, apply onto the winsheild, let it haze for a
min or two, then use distilled water in a spray bottle and wipe off using
another fresh towel.

i like RainX for its cleaning properties more than its beading properties
though.. you know how you get that wiper rubber contact area smear?
RainX can remove it.

RainX is good, but I have had better results with Castrol Accuvision (can be hard to find in some places). However, lately I have just been lightly applying Poorboy's Sealant w/ Carnauba and found it to work pretty well too. Go figure.

I use the Rain-X wiper fluid and it works just as well as the stuff you have to apply by hand.

Yeah, I've used it and actually swear by it. It doesn't rain much where I live; however, when it does I see the road better. It's actually better if you're moving faster (i.e. on the fwy) vs surface streets. I don't even need to use wipers on the freeway.

I get a lot of the same effect using Invisible Glass to clean the windshield.

Yep, I use this too. I bought mine at close-out at Target and so far, it works. However, thing I hate about applying it is that unless you remove every bit of it, the windshield will have a "smear" of where you missed. Not really that bad and if it rains, the smear will disappear anyway. So, it works well.

Yea after an application I'll remove most of it with a dry microfiber towel and then I'll give a very light spray of quick detailer to wipe up any streaks. It usually wipes very clean that way and doesn't seem to lessen the protection.
