I know, I know... I'm sorry. I was excited and wanted to get a little build up before I took pics.

zaino is a pain in the **** to work with. it generates buisness through the insane amount of hype that engulfs it.

your better off trading your zaino sealant labor for polishing labor. All acrylic/artificial sealants are identicle in performance. Exception being that zaino requires multiple "coats" for some ambiguous reason. If not applied properly (with warm states in the mid west having it easier) the zaino fails

megs, mothers, menzerna, klasse, etc... all offer synthetic sealants that offer the same protection as zaino in one application

So I was better off not spending $120 at the zaino site and just using my Klasse polish and sealant? I don't know about that...I guess I will let you know my results this weekend or next when I give my baby a full detail.

i dun know. I wasnever too impressed with zaino results

the more I think about it, the more I believe that zaino is packed with oils and other fillers...which makes it more of a gloss than a sealant

You get the hype from great results.

I live in the warm area but I have tried lots of other big name waxes with less results.

Zaino works best if you keep on it. The first application is a PITA with the clay bar and 2-3 coats. But as you keep adding more coats over time the depth is amazing and the results speak for themselves. I'll get some pics tomorrow but pictures will not do it justice. I tried others like NXT and just as many coats, it is a good product but just does not give me the same results.

I used NXT last when looking for a decent wax, that has to be one of the worst waxes I have ever used.

Neal, where are you getting your info from? I have tried many different products. Acryllic sealants are not all the same. I love Menzerna polishes, but I totally did not like the FMJ. It costs me $40 for 16ozs and I feel it offered very little in way of protection. Although some may not like the plasticy look of Zaino (Although the new Z5pro is much warmer and easier to work with), i have found it offers great protection that far surpasses FMJ.

I have yet to find something that offers the same protections as Zaino...not saying that it isn't out there, but saying I have yet to use it. Durability is another great asset to the Zaino arsenal. Again, nothing I have tried lasts as long.

As for Zaino taking a long time the first time you use it......well any detailing nut will tell you that no matter what product you use, you need to have a clean surface to start out with. So anything else will take just as long.

Zaino doesn't require multiple coats, most peeps just do it for slighter better results.
