Water Spots > Vinegar

I took some of your guys' advice and tried to take out the tiny water spots I have on my windshield and sideview mirrors with some microfiber towels and white distilled vinegar.

I washed me car the other day and before I dried it, I poured some vinegar onto the towel and some onto the windshield(Not a good idea, just rolls down the window). I rubbed the towel all over the glass using firm up and down motions. I rinsed the car again and then dried it.

This didn't get rid of any of the tiny water spots I had. Is there anything else I can do to get rid of these annoying water spots?

Chrome polish works well, I have used that on my house windows, and they were badly spotted, we have terrible water here!

I haven't met a water spot that I couldn't get off with some vinegar. for stubborn stuff use it full strength and try using our finger nail to scratch it off. If it matter I use four monk vinegar. It has to be becuase of them crazy monks that it works so well.

Re: Water Spots > Vinegar

I use Klasse AIO on my glass. It takes off any water spots, and it works like RainX, but without the oily finish. Water just blows right off, and it makes my wipers work more effeciently.

Ohhhhh what a ride!

Zaino Glass Cleaner works the best; it will get rid of those spots and then use Stoner's on it once you wash it.
