So what happens if you leave it on there too long and it dries?

Meguires Plastx............

I've been using this or stuff like it since I had headlight covers on my 280Z!
If you leave it on and it dries just apply a little more and wipe it all off.....
makes it easy! I remember waxing my first car.....I waxed the whole car
in August in Ca. maybe 95 degrees...I talking the whole car, wax was on the
car.....my Dad walked by looked at my mess and said "Your going to have
fun getting that all off!" Lesson learned the hard way.......I can laugh now!

Little late but ill add a little something. I had my car at Infiniti and they came out with 3M Plastic Polish, buffed my headlights right out. They were pitted, now they look new.

picked some up the other day... waiting for a warmer day to apply, its 2degrees outside(garage is about 45) and 5 inches of snow...

oh, has anyone noticed that on the bottle is a G? are they trying to tell us something or are they saying that this is for our car?

It helps that our car is showing up on the meguiers stuff, cause then i tell my wife, "well, theres a G on it, so I have to have it..." heheheh

Is there a reason why after I use the PlasticX it seems like it is scratches the headlights. Am I doing something wrong? BTW did any one notice the OB g35 they have on the front of the bottle!

Yes, it not like noticable scratches. Sort of like the swirl marks in you paint but on the headlights instead. You have to be real close and **** to notice it.

plastX is really a rubbing compound that makes tiny tiny scratches on the surface of your light to smooth out the bigger ones and make it shinier. SO YES IN POINT IT IS SCRATCHING...IN A GOOD WAY
