Costco yellow microfibers not good for black

If you have a black G, I would throw away the Costco yellow microfibers.
They leave fine scratches (micromarring) in the clearcoat. You will only see this in sunlight but they do scratch real bad. I used a PC polisher and got out all the scratches. I rolled out my black G in to the sunlight. Perfect! Then waxed and buffed out with the MF towels, checked in the sunlight and there they were! Hairline scratches all over again. I threw them out and got Meguiars MF. Awesome. Costco MF are lower grade, 80% polyester, 20% polyamide.
High quality MF contain 70% polyester, 30% polyamide. Softer!

If you do not have black, the costco specials are probably good enough.

use the right towels.... www.detailersparadise.com

Platinum MF for QD and general
Monster Fluffy for wax removal
Waffle weave for drying

for doing dash and dressing costco MF will do just fine.

HAHA, this is too funny, im pictureing this guy with a leaf blower pack strapped to his back blasting the G infront of the neighbors and waving! HAHA

The only time I got really strange looks, is when I was drying the car with the leafblower, then went inside when done, ignoring the leaves that were piled in our front yard

I think I got strange looks today too... I didn't know it was supposed to rain today, so I took the G out to run some errands, and it started raining on my way back... So when I got home, I busted out the leaf-blower and dried my car off, so now it looks just as clean as it was before I ventured out today...

(Drying your car after it rains with a leafblower before the water dries, will prevent your car from getting that brown dirt all over it, as all the dirt is still in suspension with the water)

I hope you have a filter on your shopvac, I'd be afraid of launching debris at my wheels...

I just use a corded leafblower. It's dualspeed. 135mph and 220mph (or something like that, I can't remember exactly).... Works great to dry off my wheels

Is your cordless blower heavy? (Just curious... )
