little overspray

just got my car back from the bodyshop from bein fixed and noticed a few minor places where there's just a little bit of overspray from painting it, sort of a chalkboard texture..... there is a little on the back windshield, a tiny bit on the trunk lid, a tiny bit on the "N" of infiniti and surrounding paint, a little on the tail light, and a little on the glass of the side mirror..... they are all small spots but im very picky

the body shop is 30 minutes away, what product can i use to remove this crap myself?

thanks

You can try using a clay bar to see if it will take off the residual overspray, or if that doesn't work, try using a mild polishing compound......then follow up with a cleaner wax or just wax....

You can also try some mineral spirits, but that usually doesn't do a thing if the paint has had time to set up....

Good luck

No body has said this but chalkboard texture to me would mean Orange peel and that needs to be sanded and buffed obviously thats not the case on the letters but on the paint id venture to guess that

Chalkboard texture is overspray, not orangepeel. Orangepeel still feels smooth to the touch, just has a slightly rough texture, just go feel you entire stock paint job, its covered in orange peel and isn't chalkboard in texture

orange peel is on the order of mm in diameter while overspray is the order of micrometers in diameter, so its pretty easy to tell the difference between textures
