New Here - need advice
New Here - need advice
Hey guys...this site is awesome!
2 Questions for ya....First, got a scratch on my rear rim(Curb Rub)...anybody have advice on wether or not you can repair these things?
Secondly....I've got a couple of scratches on my front bumper - one is pretty deep and long. Has anyone had luck with a good repair place - ie. airbrush, fill-in or whatever. I hate to replace the bumper if I don't have to?
Any help would be great! - Thanks guys!

I haven't had to pay for those repairs, but the dealer chipped my bumper and scratched my wheels, both were pretty easy to repair. It was like a 2 hour job.

You may have more luck in the proper forum. I'll move it over for you (Detail Shop).

I seem to have gotten a surface scratch in my rear valence, the black plastic, anyone have any ideas how to hide that a little? It's just on the surface, can't even feel it!

Not sure about the wheel, but I know it was discussed somewhere on this board.
About the bumper. Backed into a low brick wall. Scratched the back bumper in several places and even put a cut in the bumper about an inch long. The dealer worked with a bumper repair shop. Filled the cut and airbrushed all of the scratches. Awesome job. You have to look very carefully and you might notice something. Awesome job. And I have the ivory pearl. It is a 3 stage paint. Very hard to match....Only cost about $200. Good luck!
