buying a porter cable and pads,but where?

hey sup ppl...how is going?
its been very bad weather up here(michigan)its snowing everyday i really need a good wash and polish up my car...i always done it by hands but im tired of it doing it for all day long...
i did search for hours from now and couldnt get what i wanted...so i need ur advice...i very interested in this: http://www.coastaltool.com/cgi-bin/S...htm?E+coastest ..but does this kit comes with pads? i have many meguiars products sitting next to me..all i need is a PC&Pads

ROFL GIO!....
my garage is packed with stuff and i cant put my car in there...
its sitting outside over months with salt and snow..and i cant wash my car cause my water hole r iced...u know how i feel...
theres kits in that website...which kit comes with all pads for polish,wax ect.

Got my PC from coastal but decided to go the Edge 2000 pad route instead of LC pads.

im might do the same,buy pc from coastal and get LC pads from autogeek
but is backing plate included from coastal's? or i have to order it from autogeek.

hey guys i just got my PC 7424 from the mail.
...when i turn it ON it vibrates like crazy on my hand.even when i screw the handle in and turn it on speed 1 it still vibrating like crazy and making knoking sound...please tell me this is not normal!

for real its not normal
when i turn it to speed 6...i cant even feel my hands!

I'm taking it that you are just running the PC in the air...If so it will vibrate. That's what its suppose to do.

Remember that its a radom orbital polisher and it spins and rotates in motion.
Once its on the hood of your car, you shouldn't feel the same vibrations that your feeling now.

i know when it turn it on every machine vibrates...but this is off ...its "crazy vibrating" i cant feel my hand i mean it...felts like holding a vibrating machine ...and the knoking noise is from the "black plastic top vibrate so hard its making loud noise just like a SHOTGUN! is this normal?
btw ive used a dewalt polishing machine it dont vibrate like the 7424

its normal, go test it on a surface like the carpet, and it will vibrate less

the counter weight(half disc) came with it... on top of it says.... USE 5 INCH PAD ONLY
is the knoking sound normal?
