I only wax about every other month, wash about every other week.

Picked wash & wax monthly.

Most people that I know don't wax their cars everytime they wash, though.

^lol really? I think I haven't vacuumed my carpet in a year!
I wash mine about every other week. Unfortunately, I have no time and patience to wax . I have someone that does it for me for $80.

Wash the car almost weekly, but definitely don't wax it that often - there is no reason.

Nice!! I'd love to have a heated garage (and even better, not have to pay the bill to heat it)

There's a touchless drive-thru car wash nearby where I used to bring my Maxima. It's all water jets and compressed air.

I don't think it would hurt the paint, but I'm also hesitant to take this car there.

http://autopia.org/forum/detailing-p...?highlight=qew

I started using QEW this winter and I LOVE it!!
I haven't tried the rinse-less process yet but I'm in a similar boat and bought some ONR. Ordered/bought a bunch of detailing stuff thanks to Autopia, knowing I was going to get the BO color. That site is addicting and overwhelming at the same time.

It's way overdue for me to get new microfiber towels. Anyone have any recommendations? I want towels that don't have abrasive edges to them, and can absorb a lot of moisture.

A touchless car wash won't hurt your paint, as in scratch it, but it will take off any wax/polish/sealant that you use alot quicker. They use some pretty strong detergents.

The QEW rinseless wash makes it a joke to keep your car clean during the winter. I love using it! ONR, from what I understand, is the same kind of stuff.
