Washing and Waxing the G

How, and how often do you wash and wax your G? I know some of you guys are very particular about this, while some others may not be. Could be interesting.

If you use a commercial coin wash that is a self service type facility with the sprayers and brushes and stuff, then I would call that a "self" wash, and not a commercial wash.

If you do not always wax it when you wash it, then just select the right choice for how often you wash it.

I bought a silver car (aka Liquid Platinum) just so that I would not have to wash it everyday! No more black cars for me! So I plan to wash the car at one of those hand wash commercial places at least once a month.

If you actually wash it yourself, and someone does not actually wash it for you, then I would think that would qualify as one of the first three choices.

You are right about the colour. It never looks dirty. I love this colour.
In the summer I hand wash about once a week. I Zaino (Z5, Z2) it twice a year, and I use the Zaino detailer (Z6) after every wash.
In the colder months I wash it when I can at the DIY. It's been about 3 weeks now.

During the winter I use a commercial coin wash, but weather permitting I would rather just do it myself at home. None of the poll options really allowed me to choose a seasonal mix, so I went with what everyone assumes right now when they see my car "never - I like it dirty"

I didn't vote in the poll either because the poll did not have anything close to what I do.

If the commercial coin wash is a self service type facility with the sprayers and brushes and stuff, then I would call that a "self" wash, and not a commercial wash. If the coins are for a drive-thru, such as are frequently found at gas stations, then I would call that a drive thru.

In any case, your choice will be great for a few laughs. Thanks for participating.

Maybe I should have added more selections.

The only problem for me was I don't wax every time I wash . My old body couldn't handle that .

A multi-selection poll would have been better for this.
