Paint feels like sandpaper!

Hey all,

A while back a body shop waxed my car with some crap wax and now the entire car's paint job feels like sandpaper! I used a liquid clay bar, and it didn't do a thing. What should I try next?

thanks

Yeah mine has a gritty oil like substance on the back that is really fine. I can never get it off with a wash either!

Sorry to hijack your thread

...CLAYBAR CLAYBAR CLAYBAR.. wash your car.. dry it really good... claybar it, then wax it.. done.. im serious my car was rough after a year of owning it and i never let it feel that way again.. its time consuming but the results to me.. are worth it.. my car feels nicer then almost anyones(not being a dick) i just take care of my paint good.. if you go to Walmart they sell for about 15 bucks, the Mother's wax, mother's claybar and mother's claybar lub, which u use to keep the surface area moist.. never use a claybar on a dry surface, u will screw ur **** up bad..

it could also be overspray on your paint..either way like the others said clay bar will take it out.

Sand paper and acetone. Steel brilo pad works too!
