Re: Interior Neon's Wiring
Hook it up to your door trigger instead of your domelight because it may draw too much power and burn your stock dome out. Find the door trigger wire and tap it in from there and run it parallel to the other side.

Re: Interior Neon's Wiring
i am going to get the current from the accesory line going to the 12v outlets... and then place the switch in a custom holder in the ash tray area (no g driver should smoke in their baby)
They would come on always with the car, and go off with the ignition, but the switch would allow me to turn them off when i wanted to... i got a pair of 12" mini blue neons for under the dash on both sides, and i am going to put their transformer on the driver side, a lot of room up under the dash, but got to be careful about steering, pedals, and other junk...
Peace

Re: Interior Neon's Wiring
Dudes,
Hide all your wiring! I went from the fusebox by the dead pedal and wired up 4 ultra thin cold cathodes and a pair of mood light on my center console! I also wiring it up to a sound flasher so I can have the light flash with music or be on solid. I bought all the cold cathods at Silicone Valley Computers on-line and paid less than $60.00 for white and blue lights all around. I used 6" mini tubes. They work great, light up the entire under section and are all hidden and out of the way. I tapped the fuse for the 12V cig light ont he passenger's side so if it blows, I don't loose anything. I can take some pics and post if you like! I have pics in my rides section with the fronts and I put a movie up on our movie server of the front lights flashing. I installed the rear under seat lights about a month after I did the fronts so the whole this was an exandable install! They're really the bomb!

Re: Interior Neon's Wiring
I used LEDs instead of neons, but took power from the back of the driver's cig lighter. Pulled wires using a coat hanger that I pushed thru from the passenger side under the center console, attached wires, and then pulled it back...
