What to use to clean tan interior.
If it is just a couple spots get a box of those Mr. Clean magic pads. The kid that owned the car before me smoked in it hardcore so when i got the car the leather was basically black as night (tan interior as well). I used all these leather cleaning products and they just took so damn long putting them on waiting then taking it off, but my mom who owns a cleaning company told me to try them...didnt at first because i was like "how in the hell is a white maxi pad looking object going to clean leather" anyways about 2 hours later i took her word and tried it...saved me about 10 hours of hastle with leather cleaning crap.

This works for all the plastic/vinyl/leather in the car. For extremely dirty interiors, use an interior brush to scrub in the woolite mixture. 303 carpet/spot cleaner also works very well. As for the carpets, a good vacuuming followed by a soaking with the woolite mixture in a spray bottle, followed by scrubbing with a terry cloth is what I do. Then some plain water, and more scrubbing to remove excess residue. Get the carpet as dry as possible. Sometimes, if the carpet is bad enough, only a steam extractor will work and you'll have to consult a professional detailer.
I have some spots on my inner A-pillars, what is right next to the windshield) I think its suede or psuedo-suede. Will this Woolite mixture be suitable for this application. Will it stain the material. I appreciate the help!!!
I used the Lexol cleaner followed by the conditioner. The biggets problem is the original low quality of leather used by Infiniti. It is already cracked on the side bolsters in under 2 years. I've had leather in other cars look better after 5 years. I hope they fixed this for the newer models.

Keep in mind when using these products, they do not leave any protection behind to help protect from UV rays on the vinyl and plastic around your vehicle. To protect your interior from UV fading while leaving behind a bold, matte, no gloss finish, they have 303 Aerospace Protectant. This is a very versatile product, and not only works well on protecting your interior vinyl and plastic, it works as an exterior trim product, a new tire look dressing, and a great engine bay dressing that does not attract dust and grime.
For those of you who like to tackle the cleaning and protecting in one step, Poorboy's Natural Look is a great cleaner and protectant in one. It leaves behind a low gloss to matte finish and has a great scent to it as well.
For leather care, I like using a product that wasn't mentioned in this thread before, Leatherique. This two-step combo is designed to restore very hard, dry, faded leather. If your seats are very dry and cracking I'm going to highly recommend you use the Leatherique Rejuvenator Oil and Leatherique Prestine Clean. It won't remove fine creases but it will help them look better and prevent further damage. The Rejuvenator Oil is packed with conditioners that work deep into the leather to condition the leather deep in the seat while releasing contaminates lodged in the leather.
The Prestine Clean is applied after to help remove contaminates and provide even more conditioning. Your vehicle’s leather has many micro pores that can become clogged with contamination from soil, human oils, spills and more. These contaminates discolor the leather and prevent the pores from absorbing conditioners that keep leather soft yet durable. It’s very important to clean and condition the leather regularly so the leather doesn’t dry out, fade and crack.
If you leather is in great condition and you are looking to just preserve it, then only the Prestine Clean is necessary.
The application process is pretty detailed so I'll outline that as well:
Prior to Use:
The selected surface should be vacuumed and wiped down with a damp cloth.
Products Recommended:
Leatherique Rejuvenator Oil
Leatherique Prestine Clean – Required to remove Rejuvenator Oil
Applicator Pad – Required to apply Prestine Clean
Microfiber Towel x2 – Required to remove Prestine Clean
Steps Taken:
1. Vacuum seats thoroughly and wipe down with a damp towel to ensure all loose debris is removed prior to working the product.
2. Apply Leatherique Rejuvenator Oil by hand and massage into the leather or leatherette, using generous amounts to the stitching and cracked areas
3. Allow Leatherique Rejuvenator Oil to sit on your seats for up to 24 hours, we suggest parking the vehicle in the sun to create a sauna effect while the product is penetrating your seats.
3a. Multiple applications may be required for hardened and discolored leather.
4. Apply Prestine Clean directly onto the seats with a terry cloth applicator pad, using generous amounts around stitching and cracked areas
5. Allow Prestine Clean to penetrate leather for 15 – 30 minutes
6. Remove Prestine Clean with a warm damp Microfiber towel
7. Buff completely dry with a new dry Microfiber towel
If you act quickly, we are giving away a set of 32oz Leatherique Rejuvenator Oil and Prestine Clean on April 1st, click to view our contest entry info.

I have read that some people actually wrap their seats in plastic for 24hrs to further help the Rejuvinator oil work into the leather, plus you could still drive your car around and keep you butt oil free!!!

I used Woolite in my TL when I had tan interior. It works wonder on dirt. But you have to admit maintaining a tan or light colored intereior is a task. My friend who brought his 06 G from the dealer advised them not to take the plastic off the interior at all. That was a year ago and the plastic is still on there.

+1 on the Prestine Clean.
I had some pretty bad discoloration on my Wheat interior due to leather skirts. Instead of Woolite, I used my detergent (All Free and Pure) and it seemed to take most of it out. I then went back with Prestine Clean and it removed everything that was left.
