So there were no installs for me to do at work and i wasn't off for a few hours so i got down on the wheels. I just used mothers mag and alum. polish.... i can't really get the fine scratches out, anybody got any other tips? i used microfiber cloths for application and buffing. I think i'll try the ball things you put in a drill. anybody got any tips on how to use those things properly? is it just used to buff off the polish?





and then i still had time left so i went at the exhaust tips too

once your done get some wax on them, or if you use zaino put some on it will greatly ease in future cleanings.

 

Get a Dremel

 

looks great! i'd say the next step is definitely a power tool of some sort if u want better results....followed by some sort of wax or sealant.

 

great job, I did mines with the mother's powerball & powerball mini way faster than by hand just put it on a drill and thats it

somebody told me to not use mothers mag and alum. polish if your rims have clrear cote on it, cuz it takes the clear cote out

 

correct,mothers polish is an abrasive and will ruin clear coat for sure

 

So how are the scratches supposed to b removed on clear coated wheels?
