gone for college
hey spring break is over
and gotta go back to school tomorrow. i spent the entire afternoon washing, polishing, Zaino-ing, leather conditioning, totally prepping my baby for a 3 month sleep
makes me cry haha
anyways, we have 2 dogs at home and they like to run through the garage to greet my mom and my sister. not knowing how dirty they are, they're always brushing against my car and dragging their wet and muddy fur (when it rains) across my bumper. it pisses me off to find streaks of mud across my bumper when i come home from school and i'm always having nightmares of all the million scratches they make everytime they do that.
i can't use a car cover because if i do, my mom will want me to park outside since we have too many cars and not enough garages spaces. (long story, i fought long and hard to keep my car in the garage when i'm gone)
and so i thought of a little plan to keep my rear bumper clean and scratch free. i bought a stack of microfiber towels from costco and i stringed them together across my bumper. the yellow string is just regular yarn.

what do you guys think? will this hurt my car more? will the string scratch the paint? it felt like a great idea last night, but now the thought of having string pulled across my car is kinda daunting :/

I don't know whats worse the wet muddy dog, or the bulldog slobber I have to wipe off. I dont smoke in my house so i go out to the garage.(gives me a chance to gaze at my beautiful girl) Well we have two english bulldogs and they have to go everywhere with me.(except in my car) So it seems like everytime I finish with a 3hr detail they have to come in the gargage and either shake slobber on my car or try and lick the fresh wax on my car. I guess they like the smell of Zaino or somethin.

That is funny man. I thought I was ****.. = ) Why don't you take a crap load of renolds wrap, and put a few layers across the back of the car. That is what I do if I am taking a long ride and don't want bug splatter all of the front of the car. It has the same effect as the white plastic dealers use on new cars, but with the dogs, I would put a few layers.
yea i would be pretty paranoid with that string. the thread will cause light scratches. youll notice them in sunlight. Besides a car cover, try to find a BIG piece of some sort of material that wont scratch your paint. some sort of sheet or something,,,
