Cleaning Rosewood

How should a rosewood interior be cleaned and treated? I know not everyone has rosewood, but I thought you guys might have some good suggestions.

Thanks.

Good question. I ran into the Turtle Wax dashboard sponge.

It's very dense and soft. I picked mine up at Biglots for about a $1.50. Picked up several. It even cleans upholstery.

I have worked with wood for many years, not professionally mind you, and have found that sealed or coated wood is just as easy to maintain anything painted. If you apply wood products you won’t be treating the wood because nothing is going to penetrate the clear coat or top coat and soak into the wood, you would not want it to. I'd use a damp sponge to clean off anything that gets on it and that should be enough. If you want it to be shiny you can carefully wax it but for me the beauty is the satin finish. Use a swiffer duster and keep it clean. That's my opinion.

^^^yep.. the wood grains have a layer of clear coat(not too sure if it actually is clear coat but theres a coating over it.. they gotta keep moisture out or it'll warp
