Painted Pin Stripes (removal)
I have a 04 OB 6mt and it had some painted pin stripes from the dealer...i lived with them for 2 years and always wanted to take them off. So yesterday i decided to try myself to take them off instead of the local body shop charging $80 to take them off. Basically I just bought some Acetone from the local hardware store. I put a bit of acetone on a terry towel and rubbed it on the pin stripe. To my surprise it came off pretty easily and my car looks WAY better now. Some parts required some hard scrubbing to remove it completely, but it worked great. I wish I would of done this 2 years ago!
