+1!

In the grand scheme of things, process is much more important than what products you use. To drill down even further, the prep process is by far the most important factor in your overall end results.

I encourage you to read our informational How-To Guides which will take you through each step of the detailing process. Once you understand what each step does and what your vehicle needs, you can make a much more informed decision on what products work best for your detailing objectives.

Lots of good conversation going on over at Detail University and you can read other responses on this same topic: Wax of Choice.

Every spring I do a complete cleaning/detailing of my G.....
Clay bar, followed by Klasse AIO (all in one), The SG (sealant guard), then I wait 8hrs and put on a couple coats of P21S Carnuaba wax.

The whole process takes you a couple of hours, but the results are pretty impressive, and the Klasse keeps the shine for many months..

I usually apply several coats of P21S, since it has no long term lasting abilities.

There are plenty of quality products out there.....but preparation like most/all said is the key to a beautiful shine.....

Some pics from a couple years ago after my regiment was complete.
Good luck

Zaino Z2/Z5 are sealants, while ZFX is used to help cure the sealants quicker......which is useful when applying them in colder temps.

GR8TG35, your car looks killer man. Nice!!! I use the black magic car wax, but it obviously doesn't do as good a job as the stuff you use. Focking nice man!!

Zaino is probably the best out...but it is expensive. However, their products last much longer. I use it, and love the results on my coupe. Check out the website for instructions on what products to get.

yea I would go with the Zaino too. If you are starting our fresh with detailing and want the best in one whole kit, get the Zaino ultimate kit. It is pretty $$ but for that you get what you paid for, and it smells NICE

I always use Ziano on all the cars I detail

the best is mothers car wax cleaner and car wax. the best i had ever used. not only is it cheaper but the shine i get after using mothers wax is 10x better then the NXT crap and Gold Class Crap i was using before.

i have a black car, and no matter how many times i try to buff the NXT wax off, the still see smears of oily residue on the car.

try the mothers products.

I did "exactly" as GR8TG35, on my IP...
...all I can say is WOW !!
Using the Klasse Twins and my PC worked out real well.

The P21S is the easiest wax the I've ever used !
