They egged my car as well.... I didn't even do anything to provoke them.

Don't use touch up paint, cuz it just makes it look worse. I have a lakeshore slate, used touch up paint... big mistake. It totally stands out that I have a round paint chipping in the center of my hood.

That's why I ended up getting a new hood...

Bastards.

I'm not sure exactly what advice to give you.... if I did, I would have done it myself.

If I were you, take it to a body shop and ask what they think.

Good luck,

john / speedraver

I had the same thing happen to my car, twice actually. The first time it got egged was 1 week to the day after I bought it. Luckily, it didn't screw up the paint, that is until about a month and a half later when it got egged again. This time, it sat in the sun all day and I didn't catch it until about 4:30in the afternoon. I have similar damage as the picture that is posted, right on top of my driver side fender. I think the only thing that you can do is take it to a paint shop and get it re-painted. Take speedraver's advise and DO NOT use touch up paint. You will never get it to look right.

I don't understand, why people would do such a thing to such a beautiful car. All I know is, they will get their's one day.

AAww! that's terrible! Remember guys, there are a lot of people who are jealous of our cars... even my dealer warned me when I bought it. I used to get tail-gated alot, but recently, I just move the f*ck out of their way and let them kill themselves.

Have you thought of going thru your dealer? Sometimes, spending a little bit of money to get your G back to the way it was is worth it.
I'm sorry to see that... people are just jealous.

No, eggs actually start eating away at the paint if you let it set long enough. Happened to my friend's sentra one time and you can see the metal through the spots where the egg has deteriorateed the paint.

This happened to me too the night of April fools. Lucky it was during the night time so there was no damage on my paint. The sucky part was that I had spent $50 earlier that day to get my car detailed on the outside. Wax and everything. So l looked for a diy car wash and sprayed all the yolk off. There's alot of acid in an egg. Didn't want to wait the next day and have scrambled egg on my car! The Cali sun would have messed up my exterior. Sorry to hear it happened to you too. Good luck on getting your paint fixed up.
