i've been using ice for a while now and like nismo said it's good if you don't have alot of time...you can apply it in direct sunlight and there's no white residue left

over...but ice is more of a polish then an actual wax...i like it because i can have my car looking really shiny in a short amount of time...i noticed that after a few

days i would go to dust off the car and the polish would be gone and it would be harder to dust...if i use my other wax the dust comes off easily and it lasts

much longer...i think it's a good product though...

My Autozone hookup gave me a few the Turtle Wax products and this was one of them. I can agree with you Nismo G, it is not the best but for what you pay for it it's decent. I like that fact that it doesn't leave a residue.

read it on autopia which is all detailing enthusiasts..it seemed the general consensus was that it is just ok...it does an alright job but nothing liek a real clay bar job would do.

From what I hear, Turtle Wax ICE and megs NXT sealants don't last long. NXT tech wax is nothing more than a polymer sealant, not a true wax.

Zaino can also be applied in direct sunlight, but lasts up to 6 months, and is also very easy to apply if your paint is conditioned properly.

I currently use Wolfgang's Deep Gloss Sealant. Great product, deep finish, very reflective too.

I dont think zaino is a "true" wax either...as in i think it is synthetic, but im not sure. I just dont think it is a carnauba wax...

The turtle ICE wax doesn't last long at all, but it is something you can apply on and take off with in 15 minutes...so you can apply it everytime you wash the car. For me thats once a week atleast. As for other waxes the good thing is it will last for a longer time and protect a bit more.

Youre right, Zaino is NOT a wax. It a synthetic polymer sealant. Can be applied just a quickly as any product, layered (with ZFX curing agent), and be applied in direct sunlight. Can also be topped with a carnauba wax.

I applied turtle wax ice last week, and it's raining this week. when it stops i'm goin to use some quick detailer and see how easy/or difficult it is to remove the dirt. so far it seems to be holding up pretty well. i plan on applying every week or so since it's so easy and you don't use much for 1 coat.
