possible fix to dents?

sorry mods if this is the wrong forum...
but, is this a possible technique of repairing dents as a DIY? anyone see any negative effects of this?

yes this works but only on certain dents it is shrinking the metal back into shape. Be careful when doing the hairdryer part as not to heat the paint to much.
