wax on clear bra?
wax on clear bra?
What can you use on a clear bra and what do you NOT want to use on it. Sal at Zaino said his stuff is safe for it. Others recommend Plexus. The installer said wax it and polish it like normal paint. Anyone with clear bra had any luck?
Re: wax on clear bra?
Exactly........just treat the paint as if there's nothing over it. Wax and polish it as you like........clearbra is a durable urethane film that could withstand a lot.

Re: wax on clear bra?
all waxes and sealants I know of work just fine with the film, on dark colors we usually recommend Zaino or other polymer sealants since the dont leave as noticable of a residue along the edges that carnuba type waxes can. But definitly wax the film as often as you wax the car. The film works by being energy absorbent to stop the scratches and rock hits, but this also means that a small scuff or scrape that would normally be easy to buff out of the paint may be very difficult to get out of the film, keeping it waxed protects the film against the small stuf while the film protects the paint against the big stuff
If you do get a scuff or scrape in the film, a VERY light polish may be used, anything labeled as a "swirl and haze" remover is about as heavy as you want to go. If anyone has any other questions about paint protection film feel free to drop us a line!
