Sorry to bring this up again, but any recommendation on clear bra shop in so cal? Found some rock chips on my G with only 700mi on it. How much should I expect to pay? (Both clear bra and installation.)

 

Damn I dont have the # in front of me but theres a place in Torrance that EVERYONE seems to be going to. I called them and chatted a bit today. Just search for "clear bra install" thats how I found the thread.

If nobody says anything by tomorrow I'll post the # (its at work)

Ok it wont let me edit so here goes. I think the name is Envisiage or something like that...# is 866-335-3456. He told me $600 for the entire thing (bumper, fenders, lights, mirrors, hood) or like 330 just for the bumper and lights. I dont think its TOO expensive as I expectd to pay 500 just for the kit, then have to pay install on top of that. Oh well even if I pay $100 more than other people its worth it to me to keep my car nice!

Thanks MyCynical. Found their website online, just emailed for a quote. $600. . . . wow, didn't think it would cost THAT much. How much would a new bumper cost? . . . . Oh, and did you have to wash/wax your car before going in?

 

A guy quoted me $453 for the clear bra and installation at Starshield in Irwindale near west co. The kit includes full bumper, part of the hood and side view mirrors. I havent had time to go over there to get one installed yet but i probably will soon

Definitly speak with Edre and Daniel at Envisage. Everyone we have sent their way has been completely satisfied, and they are very reasonably priced relative to the quality of their work.

As for Starshield, I have never been impressed with kit designs or amount of coverage.

It turns out, that starshield place is the same place that my cousin goes to. He's gotten his four cars done there. He recently got the bra put on his porsche turbo. I think they did a really good job. It has great coverage and everything looks perfect. The other cars he had done were his m3, gx470 and an accord. Alot of his friends that have bimmers have also gone there.
