Tree Sap

I have tree sap on the hood of my car. Any suggestions to get it off?

A clay bar will take that right off. As well as other contaminents.

If the tree sap is baked on, use isopropyl alcohol. It'll take it right off. I tried a claybar with no success on my 99 Accord which had nearly 4 year old saplings baked on.

OK. I am going to have to ask a dumb question here. Where would I go to get a clay bar and which one do you recommend.

Thanks. It looks like they have some great products on that site. Which clay bar had you purchased from there before

A good sap/bug solvent works great also, I prefer to save my claybars for imbedded contaminants that aren't easily remove with other methods

Happened to me a couple years ago (before the G) I had this stuff I bought from a car show called IBIZ. It was a liquid wax of some sort and it took the sap right out of the car. My car was covered from bumper to bumper cause I was at a friends house and the tree must have been diseased or something.
