Has anyone in So Cal installed the clear bra themselves?

Not in SoCal but I did do my wifes sedan myself. It was a test of patience....

the front part of the hood "8th of an inch" is bare

That's what most of the websites said when I was looking for directions on how to do my wifes car. Though my car was done at the dealer before I picked it up and has maybe a 1/32 inch gap to the edge... So thats what I did on her car. Guess it is an installer thing...

is there an installer in the dallas/fort worth area?

My car was done at the dealer before I picked the car up. It looks great! Modern Armor was the name on the brochure they gave me.

If anybody is thinking about getting it done go do it! Seeing how much they took off my trade because of paint chips I might come out ahead on my car when I trade it in!

Hope that helps
