Oh, the damned thing has grown even more gordgee, it's about 10" now! And it is definetly in the line of sight, still bothers me that is see no impact point though!

You know, now that I think about it, I remember reading about someone who's crack started spontaneously. It was due to stress in the windshield due to the way they mounted it. Since yours has no visible impact, it might be worth a try passing it by the dealership. Maybe you'll get a new windshield under warranty!

I am going to do that tomorrow, the worse they can say is it's not warranty, but since that old thread mentioned it, I will at least try, it would **** me off if I claimed it on the insurance and then it cracked again like that guys did! If they nix it, then I'll call my insurance!
