How to clean your interior trim?

just wondering, what does everyone use to clean there interior trim like the dash? i don't want to use armor-all, because I don't want to give it a shine.

Just wipe it down with a damp cloth.

You are wise for shunning the Amor-all on your interior.

Does the meguirs leave a shiny film or does it just clean it? I was hoping there was something that would just protect it without giving it a shine. If not, I will just clean it with a damp cloth. Thanks for the info.

the megiuars leaves that natural "i just came off the showroom floor" shine after i use it. i used to use armor all, os i know what you mean by shine, and this is in no way like that. the spray is safe for any trim, wood or washi. and don't forget to use leather cleaner on the center console and door arm rests!

I use Zymol (made in Germany) that can be purchased from Target. From what I heard, Armor All will eventually leave a flashy look residue on the leather.

+1 for the Megiuars products. I don't really care to much for the Armoral stuff though.

I just tried Eagle-One nano protectant (leather/vinyl/rubber) and I really like it... kinda hated having to switch between lexol for rubber/vinyl > leather. And it seemed to be a bit sticky.
Give the Nano stuff a go.

I'm with CarFreak about the vinyl and plastic interior surfaces, using 303 Aerospace Protectant, which you can get directly from "www.303products.com". In the past I've used Armor-All, Lexol and Zymol. All leave a slippery shine and some are sticky as well.

The 303 leaves a matte finish and no detectable residue or odor.

I use a damp “absorber” (imitation chamois). All I want to do is wipe off the dust and keep it clean. Simple H2O does wonders. But be careful water is two parts hydrogen and that's a green house gas!! You might get "global warming" inside your car.

I use a swiffer duster pad to go over the dash, screen, and everything else in the car.
