Rotary polishing question. Pad and attachments
Glad it worked for you Jeff, try blue+polish before using the optiseal, as it doesn't have alot of cutting ability. I agree that the orange and green may be overkill, but for heaver swirling they will be needed depending on the finish. If the products are leaving a little bit of marring, then just follow up with a less aggressive combo. The beauty of the edge pads is that you actually have 4 blue pads since you can flip it. I would try blue+OC, blue+OP, and blue+OPS and see how you can get them finished down nicely. Ideally, if the blue+OC finishes down well, you can just follow it with OPS. If the OC leaves a little hazing, then you'll have to go over it with the OP. Also, make sure you are working the polish long enough, they are diminishing abrasives, so as you continue to work them, the abrasives get smaller and will work out the marring leaving a smooth finish. I work each section for ~5mins, not sure how long it would take with the rotary.

I'm going to try blue + Opti-Polish 1st. I've already clayed the car and it's in "decent" shape now. W/ the rotary, it seems that combo "might" be as aggressive as I want to go. Would be nice if I could go blue+opti seal though. Would save a few hours work
