Seat Covers?

I'm getting a willow leather interior G. Anyone use seat covers? I was looking at the Wet Okole neoprene ones.

Here's a pict http://wetokole.net/photogallery/pics/2023.jpg

I own an aircraft that I got big furry sheap skins for it since I was tired of the wear the leather seats were getting with everyday use. The draw back is that you don't see the leather, but it will last longer. And these neoprene ones are kinda good looking. Any opinions on them?

Re: Seat Covers?

They are not too bad as seat covers go....I would prefer them not to have the black piping around them.....IMO..Just keep your seats clean and conditioned and you probably wouldn't need to cover them....I would consider covers if my job or work invovled my clothes being dirty all the time....any way....if you like them and it makes you happy...then be happy!!!! the black trim makes it look expensive. I liek it. especially if you have a white car or black car, it would look nice.

Re: Seat Covers?

So they finally decided to make them. Wonder how they got around the Side Air Bag Activation and Liabililty challenge?

BTW, they will make them in and colour or pattern I think.

Re: Seat Covers?

I don't like seat covers of any kind, unless just temporary when clothes might be dirty, I hate to see a nice car with sheepskin or any other covers, looks tacky IMO, I like the beauty of the interior to show, it's all a part of the package!

Re: Seat Covers?

thanks for the input. If I were to order these, I think I would get a two tone color combo that would match the willow interior.

A big reason for getting them is just seat wear. I own a 300ZX with fabric seats. The car is 13 years old and the seats are in excellent condition. I recall looking at used Z's 10 years ago that were 4 years old with leather seats that looked terrible. Lots of scuffs and scrapes on many vehicles I looked at.

I'm sure I'll do better, but you never know. My wallet chain and studed belt might think otherwise. hehe. Just kidding.

Re: Seat Covers?

IMO seat covers just preserve the beauty of your seats for the NEXT guy that buys your car! My preference is to just use the seats as they are and if they ever wear through, put seat covers on then, or just before you sell your car.
